Jasmine tea dates back as early as the 14th Century when teas were first scented in China with the heady aroma of fresh flower blossoms, creating a delightful new taste experience. Almost 700 years later, Jasmine tea is enjoyed by millions.
The green teas used for our Jasmine teas are harvested in Spring and carefully stored until late summer when the best, most fragrant Jasmine flowers are ready. During the scenting process the tea is completely buried in a mass of jasmine flowers. The process lasts overnight and then the jasmine flowers are removed the following morning. This process is repeated between 4-6 times to get the perfect Jasmine Green Tea.
Finally, we remove all of the caffeine through a natural CO2 decaffeination process for a perfect, caffeine-free cup.

Our decaf teas use a natural CO2 decaffeination process, which removes 99% of caffeine from the tea.
